The production process of glazed tiles

Most of the raw materials used in our glazed tiles are soft materials, such as Daqing, Erqing, cylinder, alkali and knot, as well as waste powder such as waste powder and porcelain powder. In addition, some coal gangue, coal ash and other mineral wastes and industrial by-products in my country have reduced production costs and achieved satisfactory results.

The method of forming upper glazed tiles generally adopts extrusion molding, manual printing, paste molding and other methods. Western-style tiles are molded from plastic. Ordinary tile parts and slabs of glazed tiles are extruded. The extruder (TCL350 vacuum extruder) was equipped with a head of the same size as the billet at the outlet of the masher slurry. More than 0.12Mpa, the mucus moisture is less than 18%. After the billet is extruded, the wire is cut into adobe, placed on a support for drying, finishing, drying and firing. Patterns in glazed tiles, drip tiles and beasts, nail caps, flower windows, kisses and other components are formed by hand moulding or grouting. Hand-molding involves breaking green clay into a mud cake, imprinting the patterned green body in a plaster mold, pasting the blank after drying, and trimming and polishing the work surface. The handmade mud has a moisture content of 22%.

Traditional glazed tiles use lead glaze as lead flux, and the main colorants are metal oxides, such as iron, copper, manganese, cobalt, etc., which belong to the pbo-SiO2 binary system and are fired at a temperature of about 850°. C - 1000℃. The amount of raw lead glaze containing colorant directly affects the change of glazed tile glaze color, and a rich color layer can be obtained.
