The cold-rolled steel plate (coil) used for the production of floor deck should be continuously hot-dip galvanized (or galvanized), and the amount of galvanized (aluminum) zinc should be determined according to the design requirements.
When designing non-composite floor decks, its requirements can be reduced. Typically, double-sided galvanizing capacity is 175g/m2 (or 180g/m2).
When designing according to the combination, the "Code for Design and Construction of Steel-Concrete Composite Structures" (YB9238-92) specifies a double-sided galvanizing capacity of 275 g/m². Higher plating requirements are also available, such as 300g/m2 galvanizing capacity, 350g/m2 or 275g/m2 galvanizing (5% aluminum), 300g/m2, etc. The higher plating gives the composite panel longer durability and the equivalent galvanized corrosion resistance is approximately twice that of conventional hot-dip galvanizing.
The galvanized sheet is only used as a formwork in the construction phase, and the use phase is not affected, and corrosion protection may not be considered.
Although the reinforced concrete truss floor deck does not need to consider the anti-corrosion problem, in order to ensure the quality of the product, the commonly used manufacturers of galvanized steel coils include Baosteel, Shougang and Magang.
