1) The water absorption rate of the extruded panel is an important parameter to measure the insulating material. After the water-absorbing material absorbs water, the thermal insulation performance is reduced. At low temperatures, ingested water tends to freeze, which destroys the structure of the insulation, reducing the compression and insulation properties of the panels. Since the molecular structure of polystyrene itself does not absorb water, the molecular structure of the panel is stable and free of gaps, which solves the problems of water leakage, penetration, frosting and condensation of other materials.
